1 INTRODUCTION The clinical management of Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) continues to face enduring challenges due to its incurable nature, frequent recurrence, resistance to drugs, and limited survival rates.1 Despite advancements such as novel therapies targeting CD20 and Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitors, which initially showed significant clinical remission, patients eventually relapse due to chemotherapy resistance, leading to fatal outcomes.2-5 The Hh pathway has been recognized as...

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, many politicians and citizens alike have sought a scapegoat (Chen et al. 2020; Porumbescu et al. 2023). With the likely origin of the novel coronavirus being Wuhan China, people of Chinese or other Asian descent have become easy targets. Anti-Chinese and anti-Asian racism and crimes have increased significantly across the globe in the wake of the pandemic (see, e.g., Dipoppa, Grossman, and Zonszein 2021; Lowen 2020; The Guardian 2020).

AbstractWhile the monolayer sheet is well-established as a Mott-insulator with a finite energy gap, the insulating nature of bulk 1T-TaS2 crystals remains ambiguous due to their varying dimensionalities and alterable interlayer coupling. In this study, we present a unique approach to unlock the intertwined two-dimensional Mott-insulator and three-dimensional band-insulator states in bulk 1T-TaS2 crystals by structuring a laddering stack along the out-of-plane direction.

AbstractBase editors enable the direct conversion of target bases without inducing double-strand breaks, showing great potential for disease modeling and gene therapy. Yet, their applicability has been constrained by the necessity for specific protospacer adjacent motif (PAM). We generated four versions of near-PAMless base editors and systematically evaluated their editing patterns and efficiencies using an sgRNA-target library of 45,747 sequences.
