NiS2 nanoboxes wrapped in carbon with a core-shell structure for high-performance sodium storage One-dimensional nitrogen-doped carbon nanotube wrapped NiS2 core-shell nanoboxes have been developed. The hollow interior and protective carbon layer significantly enhance sodium storage properties, showing high reversible capacities and superior cycling stability at high current densities.
