For Chad Creighton,who grew up in Broome and on the Dampier Peninsula in Western Australia's remote Kimberley region, hunting was a part of life from childhood. "Every weekend, every other day, you just go hunting or fishing. We live with the seasons," Creighton, a Bardi and Nyul Nyul man, told ABC Radio Perth. "It's wet season right now, and this is when we go hunting for goanna, for ducks, for geese, and for reef fish in the ocean," he said.

Regan Ballantine has long fought for justice after her son, Wesley, fell to his death at a construction site in 2017. And after six years a Perth Magistrate has now found Luke Corderoy, who was a manager at Industrial Construction Services, had neglected to provide a safe working environment at said site, fining him $60,000. Magistrate Thomas Hall found Mr Corderoy, should not have allowed Wesley to be working without a harness on the atrium level of the Old General Post Office building.

According to the latest figures on complaints about builders there are a lot of West Australians unhappy with the work being done, or NOT done on their homes. The body that deals with building complaints, the Building and Energy division of the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety told Budget estimates this week it received 1003 complaints from dissatisfied home-owners in the last financial year. But that is just the tip of the iceberg. What about those who don't complain?
