    In Western Australia, an average of three house fires a week are caused by exploding lithium batteries. The Insurance Council of Australia said while most firms had no plans to charge higher premiums for households with the batteries, or to try to restrict their use, it was deeply concerned. "Most policies will cover you for a fire no matter how it starts because fires can start with an electrical fault," the council's chief executive Andrew Hall told ABC Radio Perth.

Inspired Homes' move into voluntary administration will allow customers with long-overdue building projects to access funds and employ new builders. Mr Daff, who signed on with Inspired Homes to build his house in December 2020, said his home was originally meant to be completed in April 2023.
