The intersection improvement project at Taft Avenue and Eisenhower Boulevard (U.S. 34) is entering the homestretch, but drivers will have to endure one more major closure before it officially wraps up. Starting Thursday, Taft Avenue will be closed in both directions between Eisenhower and 18th Street as phase 3C gets underway. The closure is expected to last through late June, weather permitting.
