Her words were echoed by everyone who spoke at the groundbreaking for The FieldHouse+ yesterday. It’s a $70 million rec center being built by the Boys & Girls Club of Dorchester with millions in state, federal, and private funding. All the politicians were in attendance, but their politics were put aside for a project that honors forever young Martin.

A peeved President Donald Trump posted today Fed Chairman Jerome Powell’s “termination” can’t come “fast enough” after the European Central Bank cut interest rates. The Wall Street Journal reported Powell could even be dismissed by Trump. “Powell’s termination cannot come fast enough!” Trump wrote this morning on his Truth Social feed, adding that Powell “is always TOO LATE AND WRONG.”Trump continued to goad Powell as “Too Late” as tariff trade talks heat up in DC.

Boston-bred Teamsters President Sean O’Brien said if the Trump tariffs bring back “good-paying, middle-class jobs,” it’s worth all the pain because it will benefit future generations. O’Brien, three years in as the head of the 1.3 million-member International Brotherhood of Teamsters, added that he’s fed up with Democrats who have “lost the working class” and just “sit on the sidelines and throw rocks.”The nation needs ideas and a bipartisan government, he said.
