HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Luzerne County District Attorney has released more information about a woman whose body was found burning in Hazleton Sunday morning. District Attorney Sam Sanguedolce confirmed the woman was Jessica Lockwood, 39, who had been reported missing from Frackville, Schuylkill County. On April 29, an autopsy was conducted by the Luzerne County Coroner’s Office. Lockwood’s cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma and a gunshot wound.

(WBRE/WYOU) — Police say they have identified and charged a Romanian national who is accused of using card skimming devices to illegally access over 4,600 account numbers, including over 1,000 SNAP benefit accounts. According to the U.S. Secret Service, Florin Doroiman is believed to be a member of an organized Romanian criminal syndicate and is currently incarcerated in Virginia.
