BELCOURT, N.D. (KMOT) β The body of a person from the Turtle Mountains who had been missing since May 27 was located Friday. A spokesperson for the FBI confirmed with Your News Leader that Kristin Bruceβs body was found. Those who also aided in the search confirmed the news in a Facebook group called Bring Kristin Home, thanking search parties, first responders and volunteers for their efforts. The FBI said there is an active investigation regarding Bruceβs death.

STANLEY, N.D. (KMOT) β Stanley Police arrested two people Friday for murder in the death of a young child in March. According to a police report, police and sheriffβs deputies responded to a report of a three-year-old girl who was not breathing on March 19 in the 300 block of Adeline Drive. Responders found the girl unresponsive and not breathing, and despite life-saving measures, she was pronounced dead at the medical center in Stanley.

MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) β Minot Police arrested a 21-year-old man during an investigation into the sexual assault of a child. Prosecutors charged Caleb Valles with seven total counts, including A-felony gross sexual imposition and C-felony luring minors by computer. Police said the victim told investigators she communicated with Valles over Snapchat. The report states Valles picked her up and took her to his residence, where the assault occurred.

WILLIAMS COUNTY, N.D. (KMOT) β A man accused of breaking into the Fort Union Trading Post last month is also accused of threatening to kill former President Barack Obama and hurt three Williston citizens, federal court records say. A grand jury indicted Ian Stewart on eight felony counts, ranging from burglary to terrorizing to threatening to kill a former United States president. Authorities in Williams County said Stewart broke into the site before it opened on May 13 and refused to leave.
