President Ruggerio died early Monday morning at the age of 76. His office says, calling hours will be Sunday, April 27th from 3PM to 8PM at the Maceroni Funeral Home located at 1381 Smith Street in North Providence. Additionally calling hours will take place from 8:30Am-10AM on Monday, April 28th.

Fire officials responded to a house fire on Fern Street in Providence overnight. (WLNE)PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – A family is without a home after an overnight fire on Fern Street in Providence. Fire officials received the call around 3:30AM on Monday. The Red Cross is assisting the two adults and three children who lived in the home. While extinguishing the fire, one firefighter was injured but is expected to be ok.
