SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Palestinian humanitarian activists are being held at the San Francisco International Airport after not being allowed into the Bay Area, where they were invited to speak, San Francisco Supervisor Bilal Mahmood said Wednesday. Mahmood is calling for the immediate release of the two humanitarian activists after he said no reason was given to them by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers as to why their visas were being revoked.

ALAMEDA COUNTY, Calif. (KRON) — A group of looters broke into an Oakland shoe store Tuesday night and were caught on camera fleeing with armfuls of merchandise. The incident comes after what started as a peaceful protest and vigil at the Fruitvale BART Station over U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrests and the National Guard being deployed to Los Angeles. The large group was seen racing up to businesses on International Boulevard Tuesday night.
