Four Cobb County students were named state Positive Athlete winners and will receive scholarships at the organization's annual celebration next month. Harrison tennis player Ben Laskey, North Cobb Christian swimmer Grant Pool, Mount Paran Christian baseball player Cade Saldi and Walton lacrosse player Elizabeth Michalek will each receive a different $1,000 scholarship when they are formally recognized at the Georgia Positive Athlete Awards Ceremony on June 5 at Piedmont Church in east Cobb.

KENNESAW - During the Harrison football team's spring game against North Cobb last week, former Hoyas quarterback Justin Fields was in his element. Fans of all ages took pictures, got autographs and told stories about when Fields was the one running around on the field at Cobleigh Stadium almost a decade ago.
