LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - In the Commonwealth of Kentucky, parents of children with special needs because of severe health conditions are supposed to get help if they are granted what's called a "waiver."Waivers get them access to Kentucky Medicaid programs that help with a wide variety of care and living assistance. LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Quirky. Eclectic. Charming. Bardstown Road: a mesmerizing row of restaurants, bars, boutiques, galleries, coffee shops, and nightclubs. It's upscale yet it's discount. Not even terminated by a tornado outbreak. Until 2020 when a world pandemic and then a pandemic of protests left us wondering if the Kentucky Derby would happen at all.
