How-do, Colorado, and welcome to another edition of The Temperature, where we have so much important health news to talk about today that … maybe we just procrastinate a little at the top here. Are the Colorado Rockies the hottest team in baseball? Ever since the Rockies set the modern record for the fewest wins through 70 games in Major League history, they have been on a tear. Kennedy Jr.The official notice — a two-sentence email, he said — arrived later in the afternoon. “It was surprising, the unprofessional way of dismissing people that have been committed to this work for some time,” Asturias said.

So far in 2025, there’s been a lot of good news for people who want to utilize or extract natural resources on public lands, and a lot of bad news for those only interested in protecting and preserving. Let’s take a pause, then, to appreciate where a circa-2025 federal agency and defenders of wildlife seem to agree on an Endangered Species Act victory, and a cooperative delisting of a once-threatened life form.
