    MINOT, N.D. (KFYR) - The Class A State Golf Championship wrapped up at Vardon Golf Club in Minot on Tuesday with the Minot Sentinels winning their first title in program history. The Sentinels shot a two-day total of 608 to win by five strokes. They had three players finish in the top 15. Century’s Parker Beck won the individual state championship by shooting five under par for the two-day tournament. Beck, a sophomore for the Patriots, shot a 134 across two rounds.

    GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFYR) - For the first time since 2002, a pair of teams from the Western half of North Dakota will face-off in the girls state soccer championship. Minot and Mandan both punched a ticket to the title game on Friday night with 2-1 wins in the semifinals. It is familiar territory for the Majettes, who have been to the last six championships. They have have won three titles in that span.

    GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFYR) - The Class A State Softball semifinals had four WDA teams all playing against one another, which guaranteed two West teams would play for the championship. The two teams that played for the WDA title one week ago will have a rematch with a state title on the line, Minot and Williston. Minot started the day off with a 7-3 win over the back-to-back defending state champions, the Dickinson Midgets.

    GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFYR) - The Minot Majettes’ tennis team won the 2025 dual championship on Thursday. The Majjettes defeated Grand Forks Red River, 5-0. It’s Minot’s second championship in the last three seasons. The Majettes now have seven titles in program history. Scores:No. 1 Singles: Kylie Fettig def. Addy Lommen (6-1, 6-0)No. 2 Singles: Grace Olson def. Maddie Nelson (6-3, 6-1)No. 3 Singles: Ava Thuner def. Ruby Schneider (6-0, 6-2)No. 1 Doubles: Lila Olson & Ella Serven def.

    MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) - As a part of Kids’ TV Takeover Night at the Minot Hot Tots game Tuesday at Corbett Field, fans in attendance got to vote for one of four community leaders, including our own John Jacklin, to receive a slime bath before the start of the seventh inning.
