King County grew by just 285 persons between July 2023 and July 2024 says a new state report issued May 1. Kings County's population is listed in the report as 52,833. While the county's natural growth — births vs. deaths — shows a plus 1170, almost as many residents left the county in that year. Kings County's largest cities, Hanford and Lemoore, each showed more than 2% growth with Hanford growing from 59,856 to 61,238 residents.
