MORGANTOWN, W. Va. — The work of building the next college football never stops in West Virginia. The Mountaineers picked up its first wide receiver of the 2026 signing class over the weekend. Niceville, Florida product Robert Stith announced his commitment to WVU in an Instagram post on Sunday. Stith is listed as a three-star wide receiver by Rivals and On3 and picked West Virginia over Kansas State, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan State and Minnesota.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — For the third straight season, the WVU baseball team has recruited a NCAA Division II pitcher. Seton Hill (Penn.) transfer Ian Korn announced on X Saturday that he is transferring to West Virginia for his final year of eligibility. Korn finished the 2025 season with a 11-2 record and a 1.81 ERA, the second-lowest in NCAA Division II, to help lead the Griffins to the Atlantic Super Regional.
