DALLAS (WTNH) — Former UConn star Paige Bueckers is taking another step towards her WNBA debut. On Wednesday, the first pick in the 2025 WNBA draft received her welcome to her new home. The Dallas Wings introduced Bueckers, along with the rest of their 2025 draft picks, in news conference, getting a Texas-sized welcome to Big D. Dallas mayor Eric Johnson gave all players a special proclamation, and they were all gifted cowgirl hats too.
