The Sun’s ownership group, Mohegan Sun, recently announced that they are exploring options regarding the teams future. Rumors have spread of the team possibly being sold or relocated. Fans at Sunday’s game expressed their love for the team and hopes that the Sun will stay in Connecticut. “Oh, I was so sad,” said Wendy from Norwich upon hearing the rumors.

HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Teachers gave up their classrooms at Hamden Middle School on Wednesday for career day, featuring some News 8 anchors. Erik Dobratz, Laura Hutchinson and Sarah Cody were among some of the presenters inside. Students were then able to go outside for “Career with Gears” to see different trucks and industries in the community that are “on the go.” Students say events like this give them ideas of what’s possible in the future.
