LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Pleasant weather will dominate this week for all of the South Plains. While nighttime lows will be chilly Tuesday morning, the afternoons will be warm beginning tomorrow. Tonight’s low near 40 and then in the mid to upper 40s for the remainder of the week. Daytime highs will climb to near 80 degrees tomorrow, 80s on Wednesday, then cooler 70s for Thursday and Friday.

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Winter Storm Warning and Wind Advisory continues into early Sunday morning. However, snow will be moving out of the area by early Sunday morning. As skies clear slowly Saturday night, the temperatures will dip to the teens to mid-20s from the northern South Plains to our southern communities. Winter Storm Warning and Wind Advisory continues into early Sunday morning.(KCBD Graphic)That means there will be some areas of black ice on roadways, especially bridges and overpasses.
