UTICA, N.Y. -- The Appellate Division, in January, vacated Kaitlyn Conley's manslaughter conviction in the 2015 death of Whitesboro chiropractor Dr. Mary Yoder. In early February, Conley walked free out of Oneida County Supreme Court after serving roughly seven years of a 23-year sentence, leaving Yoder's death unsolved. And leaving the Oneida County District Attorney with a decision to make. And he made it today.

UTICA, N.Y. -- The Oneida County District Attorney's Office has decided to present the case of the death of local chiropractor Mary Yoder in 2015. Kaitlyn Conley, Yoder's secretary in her and her husband's Whitesboro chiropractor practice, served roughly seven years in State prison for manslaughter, following a 2017 conviction in Oneida County Court.

UTICA, N.Y. -- The City of Utica reinspected Algonquin Apartments on Genesee Street on Friday—just one week after condemning the building—following an emergency inspection. "Unfortunately, what we found new, is, worse conditions. More broken windows, more things that aren't boarded up that should be. Squatters," Mayor Mike Galime said. The million-dollar question: How many people are living here? It's not a simple answer. "We had 11 living here with a lease," Galime said.

UTICA, N.Y. -- The problems start before you even enter the condemned Algonquin Apartments on Genesee Street in Utica. The shattered glass on the front door. Tenants said the inside isn't any better. "There's holes in every single wall. There's asbestos. Mold everywhere. It's just...it's not a good building," says tenant Fatima Bowens. "Ok, you've got basically mold growing because maintenance can only do so much. You've got people coming in, cutting pipes, cutting wires," says tenant Kyra Glines.

HERKIMER, N.Y. -- Tri-Valley Dry Cleaners in Herkimer is opening their hearts, and their washing machines, to people without water in the Village right now due to recent water main problems. "Well, we have seven families that don't have water right now, so they're welcome. Welcome to come down," Max Dhaniram of Tri-Valley Dry Cleaners said. Dhaniram, who's also a Village trustee, is also offering those families use of the shower in his home. "There are people in need right now. They have no water.

The agreed-upon sentence for Michael Andreev, Jr., is 15 years to life in prison for the murder of his father and 17 years to life in prison for the murder of his sister. Those are to be served consecutively, meaning 32 years to life in prison. Sentencing November 14th
