During the last 20 years, Ignite Louisville has graduated nearly 1,300 up-and-coming leaders. This year’s class consists of 52 professionals from a diverse range of industries and organizations. The Leadership Louisville Center recently selected the Ignite Louisville Class of 2025, presented by Norton Healthcare. The class, which runs from October 2024 through April 2025, marks the 30th for the program. During the last 20 years, Ignite Louisville has graduated nearly 1,300 up-and-coming leaders.

Bassist and producer digs deep into his influences with debut solo album. Electric Hero aka Chris Clarke was previously bassist in Danny and the Champions of The World. Regulars at London’s Betsy Trotwood will be familiar with him playing stand-up bass in the bluegrass ensemble Foghorn Leghorn. Clarke’s career goes back to early 1990s indie with Pete Astor & The Holy Road, country rock in The Rockingbirds, Lost Son of Littlefield and Horse Latitudes.

Nashville’s Jon Byrd and Amelia White have announced their Tennessee Two-Step tour of venues around England in October 2024. The dates, which you can find below, start in North London at Camden’s iconic Green Note on the 6th before wending their way around the country and ending up in Brighton on the 27th. Byrd is as old-school country crooner as it gets.

Singer-songwriter Jon Byrd, an authentic country music survivor, is practically legendary in East Nashville, but nowhere near a household name anywhere else. Perhaps this fine effort, his fifth full-length, "All Your Mistakes" will begin to change that. He's made several strong strategic moves in that direction by tapping Joe V. McMahan, whose credits include gems from Kevin Gordon and the sister team of Allison Moorer and Shelby Lynn.

Inventory is among a distributor’s greatest assets. That said, inventory ties up a lot of cash, so managing it well is critical. To stock a warehouse, a distributor has to spend money, meaning cash tends to go down as inventory goes up and vice versa. A surplus of inventory doesn’t just mean less cash, however. It can also mean higher carrying costs, less warehouse space for items distributors can turn around quickly, and fewer resources to invest in other aspects of the business.
