Twelve graduating seniors in Centre County recently received Snyder Awards, continuing a tradition of recognizing outstanding student-athletes that spans nearly seven decades. The awards are handed out at the end of each academic year to a pair of students at each of the county's five public high schools - Bald Eagle Area, Bellefonte, Penns Valley, Philipsburg-Osceola and State College - plus Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy.
