NORTH ROBINSON — Crestview juniors Liam Kuhn and Max Durbin reached new heights in this week’s two-day Division III district track and field meet – one literally and the other figuratively. Kuhn cleared a personal best 15 feet, 8 inches to win a repeat pole vault title Wednesday. That was just two inches shy of the school record and four inches better than last year’s winning mark at the state meet.

LEXINGTON – At this point, Lexington tennis star Dylan Catanese is playing with house money. Yeah, he’s got a giant X on his back, having won a 2024 state doubles championship, but there’s another way to look at it, too. He’s already scaled the mountain top. He’s already reached the pinnacle. So anything the Lex senior achieves at this point is just gravy, right? Right? “You can’t do any better than last year, so I’m definitely a little more relaxed going into the postseason,” Catanese said.
