After two years in Baltimore, Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers is already an NFL star. But don’t expect him to pursue flag football stardom. Flowers indicated after Tuesday’s practice during organized team activities that he has no interest in trying out for Team USA ahead of the 2028 Summer Games. In May, NFL owners unanimously approved a proposal for players to participate in flag football in the Los Angeles-based Olympiad.

Until this offseason, Odafe Oweh thought he had to choose between speed and power. He wanted speed. The Ravens outside linebacker weighed around 245 pounds last season because he felt faster that way. The Ravens will “probably” hold one joint practicethis summer with both the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Commanders, coach John Harbaugh said after Wednesday’s practice during organized team activities. The Ravens and Colts would likely practice in Owings Mills ahead of their Aug. 7 preseason game at M&T Bank Stadium, while the Ravens would likely practice at the Commanders’ facility in Ashburn, Virginia, ahead of their Aug. 23 matchup at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson was back on the field Wednesday as the team held its first open practice of organized team activities. Jackson headlined a group of starters participating in the Ravens’ second voluntary workout in Owings Mills. The team is scheduled to practice eight more times over the next two weeks before holding its mandatory minicamp on June 17-18. Training camp is expected to start in late July.

Ravens' preseason sked: Game 1: vs. Colts (Thursday, Aug. 7, 7 p.m.) Game 2: @ Cowboys (Saturday, Aug. 16, 7 p.m.) Game 3: @ Commanders (TBD) So I wouldn't expect joint practices vs. Tampa Bay, as previously reported. John Harbaugh said practices vs. Washington were possible.
