Everyone knows Tupperware Brands (TUP) as a kitchen staple, but on Real Money we are concerned about the company stock and not their iconic products. Indeed, our own Jonathan Heller follows the stock closely. Let's check out the charts and indicators of TUP after the company announced a debt restructuring plan. In the daily bar chart of TUP, below, I can see that the shares suffered a steady and harsh decline until May.

The ever-mysterious holding company Biglari Holdings (BH) (BH.A) is at it again, adding to its already substantial exposure to the restaurant space. Biglair owns the Steak n Shake and Western Sizzlin' restaurant chains outright, but also has stakes in other publicly traded chains. Biglari owns just over 9% of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store (CBRL) (valued at $188 million) and its history with that company is somewhat legendary.

Friday should be an interesting day for Intel (INTC) , which reported second-quarter earnings after Thursday's market close. Intel was my top stock pick for 2023. The company exceeded consensus estimates on both the top (revenue of $12.9 billion vs. $12.14 billion consensus) and bottom lines (earnings per share of $0.13 vs. $0.03 loss), in what looked like a pretty good quarter.

Things are heating up in triple-net land, as my annual Triple Net Active Versus Passive Portfolio is rounding third, and headed for home. Since the last update in early June, the Russell 2000 Index has had a nice run (up 4.7%), while the Russell Microcap Index (up 1.2%) has been more sedate. During that same timeframe, both the Active (up 6.2%) and Passive (up 4.5%) portfolios have gained some ground.
