Ever-expanding bagel chain Call Your Mother Deli will open its newest mobile location in a neighborhood rich with houses and apartments. The company will set up shop with a bright pink pop-up at 3165 Central Park Blvd. in late May or early June. The location, in the high-profile parking lot that also serves Natural Grocers and FlyteCo Brewing, will serve bagels, sandwiches and its other menu items.

Bright metro area mornings will be a little less sunny-side up beginning next month when the Breakfast Inn closes its doors for the last time on June 8. The south Denver diner, at 6135 E. Evans Ave., has been a staple favorite since it opened in 1976, serving breakfast and lunchtime classics, including its specialty, sweet cream pancakes. The restaurant is known for the model train that circles the dining room above customers’ heads.

Burns Family Artisan Ales has held a unique place in Colorado’s craft beer scene: the tiny brewery specializes in rich, high-alcohol beers and has been run, almost entirely for much of its existence, by husband-and-wife owners Wayne Burns and Laura Worley. Despite its family feeling, loyal followers and its highly-rated beers, though, Burns, at 1236 S. Broadway, said Tuesday that it will close its doors on May 31.
