    TOPEKA — KJ Adams’ senior year with Kansas basketball finished with the end of the Jayhawks’ 2024-25 season. Adams, a standout athlete at KU, enjoyed a college career with the program that included a role on its national title team in 2022. In addition to developing into a regular starter for Kansas, he also earned All-Big 12 Conference recognition at times while in Lawrence. He was even the Danny Manning Mr. Jayhawk Award winner for the Jayhawks in 2024.

    TOPEKA — Kansas football quarterback Jalon Daniels wasn’t full-go during the team’s spring practices this year due to injury. Daniels, the Jayhawks’ starter in 2024, had undergone what a KU release detailed in February was a minor knee procedure. While that procedure was successful, it didn’t mean the decision came without a recovery timeline Daniels would need to work his way through.

    LAWRENCE — After a standout freshman year in college with Kansas basketball, former KU standout Johnny Furphy has a chance to win an NBA title as a rookie with the Indiana Pacers. Furphy, who played for the Jayhawks during the 2023-24 campaign, made the jump to the professional ranks with the 2024 NBA Draft and was selected in the second round. The 35th overall pick, he joined Indiana through a trade.

Per #RockChalk release, "Kansas women's golf coach Lindsay Kuhle has been named to the Division I Jackie Steinmann WGCA National Coach of the Year Presented by Golf Pride Watch List, announced by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) on Tuesday."
