This time, Mattamy Homes has acquired 4.1 acres in the Rocking K master-planned community in Vail, which is about 28 miles southwest of Tucson off Interstate 10. The company is operated by Toronto-based Mattamy Asset Management and has its U.S. headquarters in Orlando, Florida.

The site lies east of Interstate 19 and south of Sahuarita Road at the NWC of El Toro and La Villita roads. The property is comprised of three parcels under Town ownership, and the Town of Sahuarita is requesting rezoning from rural homestead to specific plan.

Villas II at Desert Mountain has been announced as a sequel to Camelot Homes’ Villas at Desert Mountain. Each of the 23 single-family, detached homes in the lock-and-leave community neighbor hole No. 7 at Desert Mountain. Two different floor plans will be available for purchase. The first floor plan features two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and is 2,768 square feet.
