LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors will vote on a motion to defer and refund permit fees to those whose properties were damaged or destroyed in the January Eaton and Palisades Fires. “Families who lost everything in the fires shouldn’t be asked to pay thousands of dollars just to start rebuilding,” said Supervisor Kathryn Barger, who introduced the motion.
