The Pacers still lead the series 3-2. Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals is scheduled for Saturday at 8 p.m. at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Pacers can advance to the NBA Finals with a win. NEW YORK (WISH) — The Pacers head into halftime trailing the Knicks, 56-45. The Pacers never led in the first half. They shot just 37.5% from the floor. The Pacers struggled containing Jalen Brunson out of the gates. Brunson had 14 points himself when the Pacers only had 15 points, with the Knicks leading 25-15 at that point in the first quarter. Brunson, however, was held scoreless in the second quarter. Myles Turner got into foul trouble, picking up three fouls in the first half.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Colts signed former New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones in March to bring in competition at the quarterback position. The team has said that Jones will compete with Anthony Richardson Sr. for the starting quarterback job, with the two quarterbacks splitting reps throughout the offseason. Colts head coach Shane Steichen stayed true to that on Wednesday at OTAs.“Like I said back to you guys early in the spring, it is an open competition,” Steichen said.

NEW YORK (WISH) — Pacers forward Aaron Nesmith (right ankle sprain) is available for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Knicks, per Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle. Nesmith suffered the injury in Game 3. He returned to the game after the injury in Game 3. He also played in Game 4, logging 32 minutes and scoring 16 points. Nesmith has started all 14 games for the Pacers in the playoffs.

(WISH) — The Old Oaken Bucket game will be played under the lights on a Friday night this year. IU and Purdue football will face off on Friday, November 28 at 7:30 p.m. at Ross-Ade Stadium. This is only the second time in the history of the rivalry that the game will be played on a Friday. The only other time was in 1995. Purdue won that game 51-14 in Bloomington. IU holds the Old Oaken Bucket after beating Purdue 66-0 in 2024. Purdue had won the previous three games before 2024.
