By Jown ManaloThe Bureau of Immigration (BI) apprehended 86 foreign nationals during a large-scale raid on an alleged online scam operation in Makati City. In a statement Tuesday, the BI said 82 Chinese, three Malaysians, and one Vietnamese were arrested on April 10 at a condominium along Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue in Barangay Pio del Pilar. The operation followed reports and intelligence indicating that the building housed a scam hub where foreign nationals were forced to work as scammers.

Conducted from March 23 to 29, the survey assessed the performance and trust ratings of the country’s four highest-ranking officials. Marcos received a 25 percent approval rating, a steep 17-point drop from his 42 percent score in February.
