PARK CITY, Utah — Summit County’s long-awaited public art installation at the Jeremy Ranch roundabouts is progressing toward installation this summer, with community engagement set to begin in April. The Summit County Public Art Advisory Board (SCPAAB) selected “Encounter” by DKLA Design as the winning proposal for the two roundabouts at the Jeremy Ranch/Pinebrook exits (Exit 141) on Interstate 80.

PARK CITY, Utah — USA’s Jaelin Kauf and Japan’s Ikuma Horishima achieved a rare double-double, each winning gold in the individual moguls on Thursday and the dual moguls on Saturday. Their victories took place in front of an estimated 5,000 spectators at the Stifel Intermountain Health FIS Freestyle International World Cup at Deer Valley.

PARK CITY, Utah — U.S. Ski and Snowboard team member Quinn Dehlinger won the men’s aerials competition on Friday night at Deer Valley in the Intermountain Health Freestyle International FIS World Cup, presented by Stifel. His victory mirrored the previous night’s success for Team USA, when Olympic medalist Jaelin Kauf claimed gold in the individual women’s moguls event. Olympic gold medalist Chris Lillis finished third, while Dmytro Kotovskyi of Ukraine secured second place.

PARK CITY, Utah — Jaelin Kauf of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team won first place in Thursday night’s individual women’s moguls with 80.75 points skiing down the Olympic run, Champion, in 27.42 seconds in front of a loud crowd which came out from her childhood community of Alta, Wyoming and current community of Salt Lake City. Perrine Laffont of France placed second with a score of 79.63 followed by Canada’s Maia Schwinghammer coming across the finish line scoring 75.22.
