SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Two sport climbing world cups are coming to Utah in May for bouldering and for paraclimbing. The events will be held in Salt Lake City and hosted by USA Climbing. Salt Lake City has hosted the last three US stops of the IFSC Para Climbing World Cups and, during that time, the number of registered athletes has grown by 157%. The Para Climbing World Cup will be hosted at Momentum Indoor Climbing Fort Union from May 20-21.

PARK CITY, Utah — On Tuesday, April 1, the Park City High School Miners Boys Tennis Team beat the Jordan High School Beetdiggers at a Municipal Athletic Recreation Center (MARC) home tournament. Varsity plays five different matches: first singles, second singles, third singles, first doubles, and second doubles. Of those five matches, the team that wins three or more wins the matchup. The Miners were the winners as they took third singles, first doubles, and second doubles.

SUMMIT COUNTY, Colorado — At Copper Mountain on Wednesday, April 2, four Park City athletes earned podium positions at the National Championships for the U.S.A. Snowboard and Freeski Association (USASA). Olivia Espenschied, Will Howard, Sadie Rifkin, and London Zarkos all got to stand on that podium. PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City High School Miners Varsity Boys Lacrosse Team had a home game victory on Wednesday night when they hosted the Brighton Bengals with a score of 10 – 9. “The boys really put their best effort forth today. It was a great win and indicative of what we’re capable of if we can maintain this upward trajectory,” Coach Mike Persky told TownLift after the game.
