Foothill High hosts voter registration rally for students A study from Statista found that just 49% of Americans aged 18-to-24 were registered to vote in the 2022 mid-term elections. That's compared to nearly 78% of U.S. citizens age 65-to-74. Students at one high school in Pleasanton are trying to change that trend. A recent rally held at Foothill High School aimed to show students how to register and pre-register to vote.

A personal collection of Senator Diane Feinstein's jewelry and political memorabilia will be going on auction. Victoria Gray, Bonhams Deputy Chairman North America, walked KPIX through San Francisco's Bonhams auction house. "She wore this necklace to the White House," said Gray. "This was Senator Feinstein's take on the American flag pin, and this beautiful necklace was one of her favorites. It was one of her go-to necklaces."According to Gray, one particular necklace has been drawing attention.

The district’s 74 EV buses will be entrusted with transporting all of the district’s 1,300 special education children beginning with the start of the school year Monday.
