(FOX 56) — We’re stuck in a regime of below-average temperatures that will last through the Memorial Day weekend. The sky remains mostly dry for now, but some nuisance showers and storms will be possible through early next week. Tonight, as high pressure works across the state behind a weak upper-level wave, a few showers will eventually turn to a clear sky.

Breezy winds will stay in place for us overnight Wednesday and throughout Thursday. West-northwest winds will gust 30+ mph and usher in some slightly cooler temperatures again for Thursday.

Areas that were hit the hardest on Friday are under a level 3-of-5 risk for numerous severe thunderstorms. The threats remain the same.
