POLITICO Europe
Politico Europe is a weekly newspaper focused on European affairs, located in Brussels. It evolved from European Voice, which underwent a transformation in April 2015 after being bought in December 2014 by a partnership between the American political publisher Politico and the German company Axel Springer AG. The first print edition of Politico Europe was released on April 23, 2015.

BERLIN — Germany has banned a secessionist group known as “Kingdom of Germany” that proclaimed to run a “counter-state” under the rule of an absolute monarch. German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt announced the ban Tuesday along with raids on the group across seven German states. Four alleged leaders of the self-described “kingdom,” including its “king,” Peter Fitzek — a man once convicted of running illegal banking operations — were arrested.
