The Las Vegas valley saw a significant drop in temperature compared to Friday, with a south wind contributing to earlier gusts reaching 47 miles per hour at the Las Vegas airport. Despite the cooler temperatures, the morning low of 68 degrees was still above normal for this time of year.

The new Rainforest Adventure exhibit is an interactive experience part of the Engelstad Foundation Traveling Exhibition Series. Ashley Glenn, marketing manager for the Las Vegas Natural History Museum, said rainforests are known as the “lungs of the Earth,” helping to clean the air and regulate the climate.

The event drew 124,693 across its two nights at Allegiant Stadium on Saturday and Sunday.

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A long-unsolved case involving the killing of a 20-year-old woman has been closed, according to Henderson Police. In a news release from Henderson Police, it was announced that the case centered around the March 1981 killing of Vicki Radig has been closed. She was 20 years old at the time. Her family reported her missing when she didn’t return from work. Investigators received reports that Radig had gone out with her boyfriend, Walter Bradley DeMint, when she disappeared.
