OGDEN, Utah (ABC4) — The Ogden City Police Department is cracking down on crosswalk violations as the number of crashes continues to climb. This is part of a few different initiatives to address dangerous driving behavior. Police officers spent Tuesday afternoon at two busy school crosswalks pulling drivers over, ticketing them and giving them an informational flyer. Lt. Glen Buss told ABC4 that this is important because last year there were 81 auto-pedestrian crashes.

OGDEN, Utah ( ABC4) - On Tuesday night, police removed 152 dogs from a home in Ogden, according to NewsNation affiliate ABC4. All those dogs were sent to Weber County Animal Services in Utah, putting strain on an already full shelter. However, the shelter is now emptying some of its kennels thanks to some helping hands. A handful of other shelters stepped up and now have more than one-third of those dogs. The shelters will take care of them until they are ready to be fostered or adopted.
