WEST HOUSTON – A man accused of stabbing his sister and young niece to death at a west Houston apartment complex faced a judge Wednesday, as prosecutors shared new details about the case. Kendrick Rayvon Fisher, 29, was charged with capital murder in the deaths of his 28-year-old sister, Genene Fisher, and 2-year-old niece, Karlie Watkins. During the court appearance, his bond was raised from $200,000 to $3 million. The mother and daughter were stabbed on the morning of Nov. 29.

WEST HOUSTON – A man has been arrested and charged in the deadly stabbing of a woman and her child. Houston Police Department say the suspect, 29-year-old Kendrick Rayvon Fisher, is charged with capital murder. According to investigators, Fisher is the victims’ brother and uncle.

HOUSTON – Meet Betty Boop, featured on this week’s KPRC 2 Pet Project. KPRC 2 is working with the Houston Humane Society to find homes for all pets in need. According to the HHS, Miss Betty Boop is one of their long-term stays, and has been at the shelter for more than 100 days. Despite this, the shelter says Betty Boop is “a loyal girl who loves learning new tricks.”We’re told Betty Boop also enjoys some cuddles and loves to give kisses. The HHS says her heartworm treatment is 100% sponsored.
