INDIANAPOLIS— A Senate version of Indiana’s budget bill would eliminate caseload standards for family case managers at the Indiana Department of Child Services. “Maintaining manageable caseloads for staff members is critical to ensuring the agency provides the best service possible to those in need,” read a DCS Staffing and Caseload Report for the state fiscal year 2024. Indiana law currently requires DCS to abide by the 12/12/13 standard.

INDIANAPOLIS — New numbers show millennials are drowning in debt. And they’re not alone. WRTV Investigates found a 25% increase in Hoosier consumers seeking help with their debt. Olarinde Dominic is a married Indianapolis father with one child. “I’m an IT support specialist,” said Dominic. Dominic, 36, was born in 1989, which makes him a millennial— the generation of adults born between 1981 and 1996. New data shows they’re struggling with debt earlier than any generation before it.

WRTV Investigates has learned the weekend came at a cost to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. WRTV Investigates Kara Kenney filed a records request and found IMPD spent $540,939 in overtime for Taylor Swift weekend. “These events are heavy on our personnel,” said IMPD Chief Chris Bailey.
