    HOUSTON (KIAH) — Special Pals Animal Rescue is asking for the community’s help after conditions on their property became a threat to the animals in their care. It has been a problem difficult to control for years. Executive Director, Becky French said they have tried to maintain the outdoor area within the past few months, but it has been a challenge for two and a half years. “We can’t even maintain any of these trees. We can’t cut them down because we can’t even get back here,” French said.

Two artists, Sonny Mehta and Lavanya Rajagopalan are both artists here in Houston working to bridge the gap and immerse multi-cultural art together from music, to dance and beyond.     HOUSTON (KIAH) — In today’s City Council meeting, At-Large 4 Council Member Letitia Plummer presented the apartment inspection ordinance. The ordinance is an effort to protect residents from dangerous living conditions and help enforce registration and tenant and landlord support programs. The proposal states that complaints in multi-family housing happen frequently and a process that allows tenants to address complaints is non-existent.
