NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) – The University of Oklahoma Athletic Department is laying off some of its employees. According to the OU Daily, the university is preparing to cut staff as it adjusts to the new costs of paying college athletes under the new NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) deals.
