The mother of a student at Van Raub Elementary in Boerne is questioning the district's line between bullying and assault. The mother says a student wrapped a string of yarn around her 9-year-old son's neck making it difficult for him to breathe. "He grabbed the yarn, went over his head, put it around his neck, and applied pressure," Crystal Gardner said. "He told my son if he didn't move, he was going to do it harder.
