LECLAIRE, Iowa (KWQC) - Looking to “hop” into some Easter weekend fun? Businesses in LeClaire will be participating in an adult only Easter egg hunt this weekend. The 23 businesses will have a limited number of special plastic Easter eggs hidden, event organizers said. Each egg will contain an offer that can be redeemed at another downtown LeClaire business. Saturday, participants will be able to look for eggs, and the offers can be redeemed through April 27, event organizers said.

(KWQC) - For 85 years, the Centennial Bridge has kept the Quad Cities connected, but as the bridge ages, experts say maintenance costs keep rising and frequent repairs are no longer sustainable. The Illinois and Iowa Departments of Transportation are working together on a plan to improve the bridge’s conditions and come to a solution. But the first step in the process is all about developing a long-term solution with the help of the community.

ROCK ISLAND Co., Ill. (KWQC) - Several hundred MidAmerican Energy customers were without power Wednesday night. Power was restored around 9:45 p.m., according to MidAmerican Energy.
