After a disappointing round on Tuesday, the Blue Jays rebounded and turned in a second-round score of 307 to claim sixth place at the 2025 Class A State Golf Meet. AdvertisementVaughn Romsdal improved his score by eight strokes on Wednesday. Romsdal's score of 73 was his best of the year. The senior ended the state tournament with a two-round total of 154 and placed 13th overall.

Jun. 4—JAMESTOWN — Getting Jamestown kids interested in baseball hasn't been that hard. Finding a place to practice — that's a different story. "We're actually kind of running out of space, to be quite honest," JAYBAL Board President Matt Perkins said. "Even when those new fields are done there's going to be teams out there all throughout the day. Advertisement"We start practices at 8:30 in the morning and go until the evening almost every day of the week," he said. It's a good problem to have.

Jun. 3—MINOT — Only 20 strokes separated the No. 1 through 11 teams after day No. 1 of the 2025 NDHSAA Class A State Golf Meet. Jamestown is sitting at the No. 11 spot. The Blue Jays finished up day one with a team score of 322. Fargo Davies is leading the field with a 302 while Minot North is sitting in second place at 304. Bismarck Century sophomore Parker Beck hit six birdies and an eagle for a five-under round of 67 to lead all golfers.
