On the eve of Minnesota Deer Opener, I wanted to chime in on a couple of thoughts to help ensure you're not "that guy" at the deer shack. Who is "that guy"? If you're asking that question, it unfortunately might be you. Here are some pre-season thoughts to ponder before arriving at the deer shack:Somehow adults who have been drinking for more than half of their lives are still incapable of knowing how much they can drink on a hunting weekend.

It's that time of year where we're only a few weeks from Thanksgiving, and then of course shortly after that it will be Christmas. If you're leaning towards ending a relationship that you're in, consider not waiting much longer. Anyone who has been through a breakup before knows they aren't much fun. Even if it's for the best, maybe you've been together for a long time or you just don't like breaking someone's heart, lots of factors can make it difficult to end things.

Before the weather really turns to winter in the Twin Ports, there are still opportunities to get outside for a bicycle ride. Even once the snow starts to stick of course you can ride, for me personally it's just not my favorite. Until then, there is a great group ride opportunity that runs every Sunday through November 17th. The Sunday Slow Roll Group Ride welcomes beginners and bicycle riders of all levels to join them for a 1.5-mile ride.

When it comes to cigars, I'm no connoisseur or snob by any means. Much like whiskeys, bourbons, or wine, each individual will either like a particular one or not, or land somewhere in between. With cigars much like alcohol, I've had some really expensive ones that weren't that good, and some less expensive ones that were great. A type of cigar I tend to lean towards as a favorite is a Robusto.

A couple of months back several of us went to see Metallica at U.S. Bank Stadium for two nights of awesome. Prior to the first night, I had to grab a bottle of BLACKENED 72 Seasons Whiskey to add to the experience. Coming in at about 38 bucks for a bottle, I didn't feel the price point was bad for having the Metallica name behind it. It's a blend of straight rye and bourbon whiskeys which gets finished in black brandy barrels.
