The day was filled with raffles, food, and even a photo booth, reminding everyone that even in the toughest time,s there is still joy and celebration to be found. But most importantly, it provided a platform for survivors to share their stories.

Within just a few minutes, the temperature inside a car can reach dangerous levels. This rapid heating poses a risk, especially for pets and children who can suffer heatstroke or even death. On average, 37 children die from heatstroke per year, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – The federal holiday Juneteenth was recognized one day early in the city of Chicopee. The rain didn’t stop the city in celebrating Juneteenth, also known as ‘Freedom Day.’ For the third year in a row, local officials and community members gathered inside City Hall to give speeches, share poems, and unveil the Juneteenth flag. At the ceremony, there were two Juneteenth queens who helped to unveil the flag.
