MIDLAND, MI – Serving up hot, homemade breakfast with a smile, you can’t go wrong with a classic. Lanny’s Restaurant, 4312 N. Saginaw Road, has been in business for over 50 years. Owner Ryan Such said Lanny’s Restaurant began in 1973 by a man named, you guessed it, Lanny. Such has successfully run the business for the last nine years and is the fourth owner, he said. Lanny’s Restaurant grew and had its roots in Sanford, but the flood in 2020 ravaged their building.

EAST LANSING, MI — Tecumseh defeated Grand Rapids West Catholic in the MHSAA Division 2 girls basketball state final on Saturday, March 22 at the Breslin Center. Tecumseh won the title with a final score of 54-44. EAST LANSING, MI - The final Division 3 high school girls basketball game in the 2024-25 season is in the books. Ypsilanti Arbor Prep and Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest battled on the court to take home the championship trophy at the Breslin Student Events Center on Saturday, March 22. The Ypsilanti Arbor Prep Gators stayed ahead the whole game, taking home the trophy with a final score of 32-21. MLive was there to document the action, both on and off of the court.

MIDLAND, MI – With a bakery flag flapping in the wind signaling attention to a charming roadside stand filled with delicious and homemade baked goods, it’s the sign to stop. Miss Ingrid’s Roadside Market, 657 S. Homer Road, is a family-run cottage bakery offering sourdough breads, cinnamon rolls and cookies, as well as gluten and dairy-free options as well. Owner and baker Alivia Johnson kicked off this business last year and delivered her youngest child the next day.
