WDRB's Keith Kaiser learns about this special event to commemorate this southern Indiana town, founded in 1808. Charlestown’s Founders Week happens from June 21-28 with family-friendly activities. A few events to close out the week include a family fun night, a cornhole tournament and a parade.

    NEW ALBANY, In. (WDRB) -- A historic church in New Albany will host a Juneteenth celebration. WDRB's Keith Kaiser visited the landmark that was a station on the Underground Railroad. The Town Clock Church, now the Second Baptist Church in New Albany, was constructed in 1852 as Second Presbyterian Church. At the time, New Albany was the largest city in Indiana. The church is brick, and is constructed in the Greek Revival style of architecture.
