    Early Sunday morning, an officer with the Goodyear, Arizona, Police Department performed a heroic rescue after witnessing a fiery crash on Interstate 10 in the West Valley. While returning from booking a suspect, the officer saw a woman trapped in a burning car, honking her horn for help. He ran to the vehicle, broke the driver’s side window, and pulled her to safety. In the process, the officer attempted to put out the fire with his bare hands, sustaining serious burns.
