On Monday evening, two teenage boys in Louisville, Kentucky, sprang into action when a man suffering a medical emergency crashed his vehicle into the Ohio River. The incident occurred around 6:20 p.m. at the Greenwood Boat Ramp, and the teens immediately jumped into the water to pull the man to safety. The boys also helped first responders secure the vehicle with a rope to keep it from drifting away.

Last week, Dave Treadwell, a 45-year-old world and European karate champion from England, confronted two suspected car thieves outside his home. His wife Kelly, was alerted by their doorbell camera around 3 a.m. and spotted two men near their cars. After she woke her husband, he chased the suspects down the street and caught one of them. Treadwell, a 6th-degree black belt and karate instructor, used restraint techniques to detain the man until police arrived.
